A Presidential Preferential candidate has three different ways of getting onto the primary ballot.
The Secretary of the Commonwealth may place candidates onto the ballot whom have generally been reported on by the national news media.
The chairperson of a party may designate names to be listed on the ballot.
File a nomination petition with at least 2,500 signatures which are certified by local election officials and then submitted to the Secretary of the Commenwealth.
Nomination papers will be available November 19, 2019
December 20, 2019 last day to submit to local elections officials for signature certification.
Certified nomination petition must be submitted to the Secretary of the Commonwealth by January 3, 2020
The Primary will be on March 3, 2020
